Terms and conditions

These terms apply when you enrol on a course with Cyber Security Academy. They set out what we commit to, what we ask of you, and how the practical matters — fees, attendance, materials and certification — are handled.

Enrolment

A place on a batch is confirmed once we have received your registration and the agreed first payment. Batch dates and timings are published in advance; if we need to change a start date we will tell you before the batch begins and you may move to another batch or request a full refund.

Fees and payment

Course fees are quoted per programme and per mode of delivery, and are inclusive of course materials and lab access. Instalment options, where offered, are agreed in writing at the time of enrolment.

Fees do not include the cost of any external certification examination. Exam bodies such as EC-Council, CompTIA and Offensive Security set and collect their own fees separately.

What we provide

Every enrolled student receives the following.

  • Live instruction for the full published syllabus, taught by a named trainer
  • Hands-on lab access for the duration of the course
  • Course materials and recordings, where the mode includes them
  • A certificate of completion on finishing the course requirements
  • Placement assistance, which is support with preparation and introductions

Attendance and access

Classroom and live online batches run to the published schedule. If you miss a session, we will help you catch up, but we cannot repeat sessions for individual students. Recorded course access is for your personal use only.

Placement assistance is not a job guarantee

We state this plainly because the industry often does not. We help with your CV, interview preparation and introductions to hiring contacts. We do not guarantee employment, a salary figure, or a specific number of interviews. Any claim to the contrary, from us or anyone else, should be treated with suspicion.

Acceptable use and conduct

The techniques taught on these courses are to be used only against systems you own or have written authorisation to test. Every module that covers an offensive technique also covers the legal boundary around it.

Using anything you learn here against a system without authorisation is a criminal offence under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and related law. We will terminate enrolment without refund, and cooperate fully with any lawful investigation, where a student is found to have done so.

Course materials and intellectual property

Slides, lab guides, recordings and written material remain the property of Cyber Security Academy. They are licensed to you for your own study. Sharing, reselling or republishing them, in whole or in part, is not permitted.

Changes to the syllabus

Security tooling changes quickly. We may substitute a tool or update a module so the material stays current. Any such change will be of equivalent scope and will not reduce the number of modules you were promised at enrolment.

Liability

We provide training in good faith and to a professional standard. We are not liable for the outcome of any assessment, examination, job application or engagement you undertake after the course. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
